Substrate evaluation – sustainable construction – applicable standards

This course focuses on inspecting and assessing substrates, identifying different surface types,
understanding product and environmental labels, and interpreting standards in the context of sustainable construction methods – all explained in a clear and accessible manner.

  • Target audience

    This training module on substrate assessment is designed for individuals and teams from painting/decorating companies. Through practical exercises and real-world examples, participants will deepen their expertise and gain hands-on knowledge they can apply directly to their day-to-day work.

    The course runs from 8.30 am – 4.00 pm and covers the following key areas:

    • Testing substrates
    • Identifying different substrate types
    • Understanding labels
    • Understanding the environmental labels
    • Understanding Minergie-Eco
    • Translating standards into plain English BFS 25/26, SMGV No. 91
