- Laboratory technician EFZ (paints and coatings)
As an apprentice laboratory technician specialising in paints and coatings at DOLD, you will be trained as an expert in coating production. You will gain in-depth knowledge of raw materials and receive comprehensive training in mixing colours from the ground up. One-third of your apprenticeship will take place at our sister company, IGP in Wil, where you will learn to process powder coatings to professional standards.
You should have:
- Strong maths skills
- An interest in science and technology
- Curiosity, perseverance and patience
- Independence and a sense of responsibility
Education:
- 2 days per week at vocational school (1.5 days in the 3rd year)
- Option to pursue a vocational baccalaureate (BMS)
- Logistics specialist EFZ (warehouse)
As a logistics specialist at DOLD, you will play a key role in managing our warehouse operations. Your tasks will include loading and unloading lorries, inspecting incoming deliveries, logging them in the system and preparing transport documents. You will also gain hands-on experience operating various types of forklifts and managing complex conveyor systems.
You should have:
- An interest in warehouse operations and logistics
- An aptitude for hands-on tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- A passion for working with computers
- Good organisation skills
- A solid grasp of technical concepts
- Good physical fitness
Education:
- 1 day per week at vocational school
- Option to pursue a vocational baccalaureate (BMS)
