Project details
At its 61,000 m² facility in Zug, V-ZUG produces high-tech household appliances with exceptional precision. As part of an ongoing modernisation programme, various floor areas at the site were renovated – from moderately used zones such as entrances, cafeterias and offices to high-stress production spaces.
The flooring in the production areas needed to withstand harsh chemicals, lubricants and the constant strain of heavy transport vehicles. Following an intensive deep clean, the soft anhydrite screed was reinforced using the solvent-free 2-component primer resin EP-Floorline 110 and broadcast with quartz sand to achieve R11 slip resistance. The top coat was applied using EP-Floorline 310.
The less heavily used office and break areas were treated with the 2-component zinc phosphate primer DEP 100-20 and coated with the water-dilutable PUR Floorline Aqua – for an attractive, durable and long-lasting finish.
