For the workshop of Holenstein Logistik AG in Bazenheid, a durable epoxy resin floor coating was installed across approximately 500 m². It is designed to withstand the high mechanical and chemical stresses of daily truck operations over the long term.

Project details
The workshop of Holenstein Logistik AG is exposed to heavy stresses on a daily basis. Heavy vehicle traffic, diesel fuel, engine oils, de-icing salts, and other chemicals continuously place significant demands on the floor. As the existing coating no longer met these requirements, our high-performance epoxy resin coating system was selected as part of the refurbishment project.
Following the complete removal of the old coating by shot blasting, damaged areas were reprofiled and cracks professionally repaired. The multi-layer EP Floorline System was then applied, including a quartz sand broadcast (grain size 0.3-0.8 mm) and the durable EP Floorline 310 topcoat. The result is a seamless, low-maintenance surface with high mechanical strength and excellent resistance to chemicals and tyre plasticisers.
Thanks to meticulous substrate preparation, precise workmanship, and close technical support throughout the project, a long-lasting flooring solution was created that reliably supports demanding daily operations while reducing cleaning and maintenance requirements.
